My name is Victor Vanderstraeten and I am the founder of Independent Vibe Records. I created IVR because I believe the music industry needs a place where artists can grow without losing themselves. I have always been fascinated by music, not only as a creator but also as someone who wants to understand how the entire industry works. From a young age I felt that music should stay human, emotional, and honest, and that belief became the foundation of everything I build today.I started as an independent artist who wanted to share original music without being overwhelmed by the pressure and complexity of the industry. I quickly realized how difficult it can be to release music, build a brand, and stay true to your identity at the same time. Instead of letting that discourage me, it pushed me to learn more. I studied how labels operate, how artists grow, how distribution works, and how branding shapes a career. The more I learned, the more I understood that many artists struggle not because they lack talent, but because they lack support and clarity.That is why I created Independent Vibe Records. I wanted to build a place where artists feel safe, respected, and understood. A place where they can focus on creating music while I help them navigate the parts of the industry that often slow them down. I believe that artists should keep full ownership of their work, so at IVR every artist keeps one hundred percent of their rights. I do not want to control their art.
